The universe around us is made up of patterns. We observe these patterns through the expression of nature, within our interactions, the subtleties of life. When a pattern is transitioned through time, forever interacting with it’s environment, yet in a repetitious form, we call this a cycle.
Cycles dominate much of our life. Whether noticed or not, they are present and have profound implications within our civilization. A few decades ago two college history professors embarked on a journey to discover if certain patterns dominated over human culture, society and civilization as a whole. What they discovered was truly profound.
William Strauss and Neil Howe discovered that each generation of humanity belongs to one of four types of societal archetypes. That these archetypes repeat sequentially in a fixed and predictable pattern. They labeled them as the four turnings.
High (Era of Building)
This is where a nation is united with a common purpose. There is a collective purpose and pride. Governments are organized to bring about and support the society that is being built and are not feared, but instead trusted. The majority within the society dominate the focus of national discourse, while the minority reject conformity. During this time a strong economy is produced and wealth is generated. Culture forms and enters a rebirth of a national zeitgeist.
Awakening
During the awakening phase it is realized by the incoming generation that the old system of cultural beliefs and moral foundations of the majority do not align with their aspects of self identity. They begin to rebel and awaken into a world they did not build and feel out of place with society. Institutions come under attack and massive distrust is targeted towards societal authorities.
Unraveling
During this turning, society undergoes division from the collective of the national fabric and begin an alignment towards new cultural standards which organize around self identity. This self identity is primarily driven by new found commonalities within society, primarily that which divides us and makes us different and that which united us and makes us the same. Also during this time, the economy begins to boom and wealth generation begins to consolidate among the the elite minorities producing division among the classes. Technological innovations during this time begin to revolutionize communication and help to bring about a more interconnected society. This interconnection serves to united the commonalities of culture and produce more division among the class systems. Governments and Institutions become more untrusted and authoritative.
Crisis
During this turning, also known as the 4th Turning, Institutions and Governments come under attack and begin to be torn down, great disdain and distrust rise among the society towards them. New culture begins to take shape and transitions to a new societal zeitgeist. Due to the period of unraveling, this society begins to regenerate a social fabric that is conducive with repairing the damage from the last generation. Through this, society begins to revive and finds purpose. Uniting under commonalities that are shared by the majority and laying the foundations for the next High Turning, or golden age.
Sound familiar?
If you have not guessed it, we are currently in the 4th Turning. These generational cycles typically last 72 years, but can go as long as 90 years. We can estimate that each turning is approximately 20 years long with overlap occurring among them. Strauss and Howe research the history of humanity from 1584 to current date and even pondered in a predictive manner the future and what it would bring. They where able to accurately predict a “pandemic” in and around the year 2019. Global conflicts, political revolutions, cultural transitions. One of the most interesting things that they discovered was that during each era of crisis (4th Turning) their seemed to always be some sort of global revolution or war. The last of these being World War II.
It is interesting to come to the realization that humanity is dominated by cycles. Whether it be the natural circadian rhythms of the Sun, Moon and Earth, weather patterns within your hemisphere or the psychological patterns that evolve human consciousness. All of these and more have a profound impact on our civilization and ultimately the future.
What if at some time in the past, those that gained wealth and power learned how to manipulate the psychological nature of humanity?
In my opinion, this is exactly what happened. From the 1950s to present day there has been a concerted effort among various factions of the global elite to social engineer society. By understanding the patterns and cycles that dominate our evolution, they were able to psychologically influence humanity towards a manufactured society. Culture turned rebellious and they controlled the chaos. Division began to incur and they set the battle lines. Individuality recessed and they filled in the gaps.
Up until a few years ago, this manufactured society was set to be the future of humanity. One that worshipped the institutions, was subservient to authority and had the moral and ethical foundation of their brand influencers. In other words, our society had acquiesced to allowing the natural flow of life to dictate evolution, but instead was being sculpted and molded by a group of powerful elite who wanted more efficient slaves.
But then something happened…
In approximately 2016 the distrust within the Institutions and Governments became so great that people began to look outside of the “normal” worldview. They began to search for someone that would guide them towards the answers to why the world was so fucked up. Enter Donald J. Trump.
The populist movement created by Trump was like nothing we have ever seen before in history or at least within our generation. Someone who would of been considered an elitist. Someone many viewed as one of the controlling hands in the world, stepped down from his high seat and told the world the truth. Reaffirming many things the people already knew but also exposed the a dark and hidden world that existed around us, that many never knew existed. Then he did something that either was aligned with impeccable timing, divinely inspired or planned by people who saw the opportunity.
Fake News
He began a social trend that will forever be known as the pinnacle moment that humanity awakened and began once again thinkin for themselves. Aligned with various other movements during this time that were spawned from the exposing of corruption and evil, Trump’s war on the media transformed entire generations. Coincidently enough, this war on the media aligned itself with a technological advancement that just happened to interconnect society at rapid speeds.
The birth of high speed internet at your finger tips, super computers in your hands, social media as our outlets and information plastered all throughout the digital domain, people began rejecting the old school methods of information acquisition. During this time, we also see a failed adaption of the main stream media to the technological evolution. These billion dollar organizations owned and operated by global conglomerates were so consumed by their power over the information domain that they failed to adapt to the changing landscape of technology. Where they failed social media skyrocketed. Memes, Tweets, short form videos began to become the voice of the people. No longer were people consuming 30 minutes news broadcasts or 60 minute in depth interviews. Instead people were consuming clips, soundbites, just the parts that were important to them. A new generation of media influencers was born.
Over the last 8 years, we have taken back the domain of information. We are now the media, we as a people have redefined information. The international global organizations lost the one domain that dominated all the rest. In warfare you have different domains on the battlefield. When dominated, these domains serve to defeat your enemy. Whether we are talking about the cyber, psychological, social, air, land, sea or space, there is one domain that dominates over all of them. That is the information domain. He who control it, will have superiority over all the rest.
By taking back the domain of information we have singlehandedly eliminated the ability of our enemy to social engineer society, manipulate the masses and influence organized chaos which would promulgate structured changed. Yes, I know there is still a long journey, but the foundational battles have been won. This war is far from over, yet our decisive victory on November 5th 2024 speaks volumes to our progress.
You Are Witnessing The Systematic Destruction of the Old Guard
The institutions of the last generational cycle are being torn down. The methodologies of control, deceit and corruption implemented by government are being exposed. The power figures that have reigned on this planet for far too long are collapsing. What we would call the global cabal, the deep state or the new world order is a thing of the past. Each day their institutions that once tried to implement a one world authoritarian global government are now being infiltrated by people who see the world differently. A new social zeitgeist has arisen, a new culture birthed. The great awakening is in full effect and has reached the precipice where its critical mass carries over to those who are still asleep.
As long as we continue to dominate the domain of information, expose the evil in this world, redevelop and evolve communication within community, restructure government to serve the people and bring about a system of accountability. We will have won this battle. A new golden age is on the horizon. The global elite tried to hijack the cyclic processes of nature and social engineer society to their liking. They failed. We woke up. Soon a new guard will begin to take shape. It will revival the attributes of what Strauss and Howe described in their second book “The 4th Turning” as the High Turning or Era of Building.
We have a lot of work still to do. The global order still has power but that is shrinking every day. It will take time but all the pieces are in place on the chessboard for an epic checkmate. No matter what they throw at us, understand this. Nature is a manifestation of God. When man plays God, God will ultimately slap him down. That is where we are at right now. Always remember, God Wins.
